About Me
Thanks for letting me share my passion with you.
My joy is helping others discover their greater strengths, overcome what holds them back, and move forward toward exciting futures!
I love listening to clients share their stories and work together realizing their dreams.
I will draw on a lot of training and personal experience to help you examine the relationships of your life, find those points at which you contribute to your own difficulties, and help you move forward toward the future you desire.
I hold a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University (2003). A Master of Theology from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University (1977). I hold certifications as a clinically trained Chaplain and a provider for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Steps I and II. I am also certified in Telehealth therapy.
I’ve served as a United Methodist Minister for 25 years and a Chaplain before taking my desire to help people in a more personal role as a therapist. I received my license as a Marital and Family Therapist in Oklahoma in 2008 and entered private practice in 2010.
In addition, my life experiences include cleaning golf clubs, “bucking” hay, switching box cars, and selling newspaper advertising. I’m currently married for almost 29 years, have 3 children, one step-daughter, and 3 grandchildren (expecting a fourth).
I look forward to bringing my rich experiences to help you.
I hope to remain research based in my practice and spiritually sensitive and supportive.
